How much does it cost to go to West Coast College of Dental Assisting to become a dental assistant?

Tuition costs $6,320. If you pay in full, you will receive a $200 discount.


How long do the classes last?

It’s an 18-week session (4 ½ months).


Where are you located?

We are located in the downtown Bothell area, next to the Bothell Library. Most of our students live in the Greater Seattle Area and come from as far away as Bellingham to the North and Tacoma to the South.

What will I learn in the program?

The content of the program covers everything you need to know to become a dental assistant.

What can I access online?

The online content of the program covers all lecture material as well as video demonstrations of all procedures.

I’ve heard that developing x-rays subjects the dental assistant to dangerous chemicals. Is this true?

At West Coast College of Dental Assisting, we don’t use any chemicals or film—we’re completely green. We are fully digital, so you won’t have to develop x-rays using antiquated (and potentially dangerous) methods. The digital x-ray skills you learn are highly sought after by dentists and will be highly valued as you seek out your first job as a dental assistant.

Do most dental offices use digital technology?

Almost all dental offices are either already digital or are switching over in the next few years.

What type of digital x-ray technology do you teach?

You will learn all about digital radiography using the ScanX digital processor.

Will I learn anything about back office management?

Yes, you will have a chance to learn back office management using EagleSoft software.
